iPlayByPlay is the ultimate scorekeeping application for collecting basketball game statistics.

Use the free version to try out the application and decide whether or not to purchase the full version.

iPlayByPlay allows you to track more than 30 types of game events including violations, fouls, made and missed shot attempts, rebounds, steals and assists. Information on the player or players involved, the location on the court and the time at which the event occurred can also be collected for the game events. Teams, rosters, players and games can be managed easily and results may be shared (exported) from your iPhone through email.

User's Manual

Features

You will be able to view the game events collected for a game in several ways.

  • Box score
  • Play by play list
  • Location chart

The free edition gives you access to all features of iPlayByPlay but limits the number of games that may be saved and limits the number of games that may be exported. The full edition, which may be purchased within the free edition, does not limit the number of games or exports.

iPlayByPlay is very flexible in allowing you to only deal with the game event types that are important to you. Event setup is available so that you can customize the collection of the game event information. A few iPhone settings are also available for you to customize iPlayByPlay notifications and enable or disable the game clock. Settings allow you to disable or hide event buttons which you do not want to use. You decide whether or not you want to collect the location on the court and the time at which the event occurred. Some events such as steals and fouls also allow you to enter information about a second player involved in the event. In the case of a foul, the first player is the player who committed the foul while the second player is the player who was fouled.
